Dr. Tall shows commitment to his mission to help his patient’s teeth look good, feel great and last a long time by investing in the latest technology. Placing crowns on broken and decayed teeth is typically uncomfortable and time consuming.
|
|
With the new CEREC restoration process, patients can have the crown fitted and placed in one visit!
NO TEMPORARY CROWN NECESSARY!
The CEREC technology uses a small camera and computer aided design (CAD/CAM) software to make the crown in Dr. Tall’s office. With the aid of the computer, crowns fit with precision, look more like the real tooth and Dr. Tall can leave more of the original tooth in place. Patients are happier with the CEREC crowns because they feel more like the original tooth and there are no ugly dark lines by the gum line that is common with the old method of crown placement.
Without a doubt, the CEREC crown process is a major advance in dentistry. Dr. Tall is one of the only dentists in the area offering this service.

Using special equipment, Dr. Tall can take an infrared scan of your tooth. Dr. Tall can then design a crown with CADD/CAM software as seen below.

When the crown is digitally created, the information is transferred to a state-of-the-art machine located in Dr. Tall's office. Then, a high-speed diamond bur mills the crown with precision.
